About the Facilitator

My Photo Dr. Kevin Kulik is a Chiropractor, and Nutritionist in Massapequa Long Island. Those however, are not his most important titles. He sees his role as a son of God, husband, and father as primary. His encounter with God through his meeting with Mother Teresa early in his career set the tone for the kind of spirituality he desired to pursue. While blessing his hands she requested that each person he layed his hands on would be seen by him as if they were Christ. This has been a great challenge to say the least!; As a result, shortly thereafter, he began his interest and involvement with Mens Spirituality over 20 years ago, when he joined " Promise Keepers". This is an organization that grew incredibly quick among predominately evangelical Christians. Although Dr. Kulik has a great love and respect for Promise Keepers, His love for the Catholic Church calls him to bring Mens Spirituality " Roman Style", to guys of his own faith. The Mens Spirituality movement within the Catholic Church has lagged behind our protestant brothers and it is his sentiment that "our time has come" Dr Kulik is Married with 2 boys.

A: No

The wild at Heart series

There is something fierce, passionate, and wild in the heart of every man. That is how he bears the image of God . And the reason most men "live lives of quiet desperation" ( Thoreau ) is because men have been told that the reason God put them on earth is to be a good boy. To be nice. But every man longs for a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue.
Join us as we explore the series " Wild At Heart " which shows men how their childhood has affected them as grown men. We invite men to explore that portion of their life and embrace it. By embracing that time in their life, men use that knowledge to help them become stronger Christian men.Simply look at the dreams and desires written in every boy's heart: to be a hero, to be a warrior, to live a life of adventure and risk. Sadly, most men abandon those dreams and desires---aided by a life that feels like nothing more than pressure to be a "nice guy." It's no wonder that many men avoid church, and loss their passion
